I truly didn't mean to follow Random Story #1 with another story about our experience at Walt Disney World, but hey, this story was just too cute not to share....
When our busy family schedules line up, we find that we like to hit The Park really early and then head home when it gets too crowded or too hot, whichever happens first, which these days usually happens at about the same time.
So there is a little thing we like to do to treat ourselves:
We make reservations for breakfast at a little mountain place called "The Whispering Canyon Cafe".
It's inside of this resort,

It'll do.
So, besides the amazing view, and the amazing food, there are a couple of other things they are known for; your waitress or waiter are usually hilarious. You're in for a rip-roarin' good time!
Oh, and be sure to ask for some ketchup.
Well, on our last visit, we were the first family who needed ketchup at the table (we usually are as I mentioned, we arrive really early), and we quietly asked our waiter, hoping not to make too big a deal out of it, that we needed some ketchup. Now our waiter Craig, was really mild-mannered, so I thought we were "safe"...... not quite, he brought us a brand new case of ketchup!
And I commented, "Wow, we could build a pyramid, just like the one I saw on Pinterest."
I didn't think he heard me.
But he returned and said, "I bet you never saw this on Pinterest!"
Oh my goodness, he was dressed as a giant ketchup bottle! It was, AWESOME!
So, while we were at it, Scott asked for a little hot sauce and you guessed it, Craig brought us....
a little hot sauce!
Now Craig sat down with us and chatted. He said he was taking his "Union Break" and he explained that he knows some families really don't want this type of entertainment at a meal and he tries to feel the families out first. Although, I don't really want them to go too, crazy, hahaha, ('cuz what's crazier then a giant ketchup bottle), but we really do enjoy it.
By the way, once we've parked at the resort, we don't have to battle the traditional theme park parking hub-bub. From the Wilderness Lodge, you can catch a very nice boat ride to the Magic Kingdom.
Yes, the breakfast is "pricey", especially for breakfast, but, we get the all-you-can-eat breakfast skillet and the food is delicious! It's hard to find a restaurant that has food all of us like and we all love it here!
